{"id":228,"date":"2014-10-31T15:55:36","date_gmt":"2014-10-31T15:55:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arcatiproductions.com\/?page_id=228"},"modified":"2015-10-01T14:30:35","modified_gmt":"2015-10-01T14:30:35","slug":"julius-caesar","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/arcatiproductions.com\/?page_id=228","title":{"rendered":"Julius Caesar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arcati Productions was delighted to be able to assist <a title=\"The Merely Players\" href=\"http:\/\/www.themerelyplayers.com\">The Merely Players<\/a> and Director Neil Sheppeck on their production of Shakespeare&#8217;s Julius Caesar.<\/p>\n<p>Arcati Productions provided production support by composing vocal underscoring and the loan of percussion instruments and assistant directing and choreography of the ensemble which featured though out the\u00a0production of Julius Caesar at the Cockpit Theatre on 22nd September 2014.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;&#8230;the large ensemble cast created a far more realistic sense of place than any set could have. For example, the walls of the theatre were rattled and banged for effect; basic instruments were played; the name \u2018Caesar\u2019 was chanted, sung and whispered at different moments, creating various moods each time.
